back to basics

just look at the difference!

so while my pretty new phone is being used monitored by someone else.. i’m stuck with a loan phone – the sony ericcson z200.  when i got it i was told it was a very basic phone, sure i mean you’d expect that right.  as long as i had a phone that could make/take calls and text i was totally fine with that.  what i didn’t know was:

1. its a butt ugly phone (yes yes, i’m very superficial.  and i guess some people might actually find the design rather cute.  i’ll just have to say i disagree.. very much so!)
2. it doesn’t have a dictionary for texting!!! (it was released in 2003!!!)  i now take many times as long to type out simple texts.. sigh.  and it doesn’t help that the buttons are really quite small and easy to miss.

that’s it really.. but sigh i miss my phone already despite all the problems it was giving me.  i suppose it really is my own fault for going for looks over substance, but hey can you blame me.  i just hope they’re able to figure out what’s wrong with it and fix it rather then just return it to me a week later with the only the software updated.  :p
